Traditional souvenirs from Bulgaria range from the rose oil, via hand-painted icons and local pottery, to silver filigree jewellery. All of this and much more can be found at souvenir shops close to the tourist attractions: Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the underpass between the Presidency and Council of Ministers or the souvenir shops in the museums.

The souvenir shop in the National Ethnographic Museum is the one to offer a rich selection of gifts covering Bulgaria’s traditional crafts: everything from Troyan pottery to hand embroidered blouses, jewellery, icons and pictures.
